What Is a Quilted Composite Geobag?
A quilted composite geobag is an innovative geosynthetic product designed for ecological slope protection, wetland restoration and riverbank reinforcement. Unlike traditional PP woven geobags, the quilted composite geobag features a dual-layer structure: an outer layer of 200g green nonwoven fabric for water permeability and vegetation support, and an inner layer of 400g twill woven fabric for structural strength and load-bearing capacity.
The two layers are permanently bonded through a quilting process, preventing layer separation during filling and installation. This unique design combines the ecological benefits of nonwoven fabric with the mechanical strength of woven material, making it ideal for green infrastructure projects across Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Manufacturing Process
- Material Laying: 4.2m twill fabric placed on 4.5m nonwoven fabric
- Edge Folding: Both sides folded inward 15cm for clean edges
- Quilting: Quilting machine bonds the two layers permanently
- Cutting: Cut into 1.45m x 4.2m individual units
- Sewing: Fold in half, sew three sides with double needle, leave one side open for filling
- Packing: Palletized, labeled and stacked by zone
